The Flat Planet and a Phone !

I know that OmGiga and Mike will be covering this only tomorrow, due to the embargo, but as an independent I don’t have to pay attention to that hogwash. So here is the story –After almost 3 months of negotiations Google has agreed to buy iotum in an all cash deal of $520m. Last night I was able to reach Alec Saunders, CEO of iotum for a quick comment (Alec was busy watching a hockey game) ” I told Howard from the beginning that we were on to something big, but this is really big! Speak to me again after the hockey game and I will give you some more insight” was all I could get from a very happy Alec.

Sergey Grin of Google was ecstatic about the new purchase and explained to me why he was so enthusiastic - “iotum is the missing piece in our puzzle. Until now Google stored everything that was worth knowing about you in our massive GoogleStor. This info was used to send you the most relevant advertising, NOW we will also know, thanks to iotum where and what you are doing at any given time which will make our advertising much more relevant.

Although it is a Sunday, I was able to pick up a few comments -
