The Flat Planet and a Phone !

Surj Patel, a highly respected technologist, and someone I like to think of as a friend is joining the leading tech blogger , Om Malik at GigaOm! While I did hear these rumors a couple of days ago, I was not sure if it was intended yet for public knowledge.

Now that Andy Abramson has come out with the long and short of it here, I wish Surj and Om, both whom I respect highly, the best of luck! I first met them at Etel 2oo7 where The Flat Planet Phone Company was invited to present at the Launch Pad. I found both of them to be smart, friendly and above all gentlemen. Hopefully, we will be hearing from them soon.
